The object that has a complex
of associated meanings, and perceived to be of
inherent value separable from which it is symbolized
is known as Kalash. Metal, clay, porcelain, vessel,
earthenware are used in the making of kalash.
Generally kalash is used for established procedure
for a religious occasion or for some rites.
Usually kalash is earthenware that looks like
a shaped pot with an opening on the top, and can
be filled with holy water in it.
